Automated Aniline Point Tester aap-6
High accuracy determination of the aniline point of petroleum products.
Key Features:
- High precision measurement of aniline point.
- Automated testing process for consistency.
- Easy-to-use interface with minimal maintenance.
- Reliable performance in various conditions.
- Compliant with ASTM standards.
ASTM, D611, D2977, ISO, ISO2917
Conforming to ASTM D611 and ISO 2977, the Tanaka AAP-6 automates the aniline point test of petroleum products. Using a specialized infrared detector, the automatic aniline point tester is capable of testing a wide range of samples, from transparent to opaque, including residual fuels that rank up to 8.0 on the ASTM Color Scale. The latest in the Tanaka family of flash point testers, the AAP-6 boasts an easy operation, safer handling of toxic aniline and compact design.
Easing safety hazard concerns, a bottle top dispenser allows for easy connectivity to the measuring cell and eliminates the need for a manual pipetting operation.
The instrument's removable measuring cell allows for both weighing of viscous samples that are solid at ambient temperature as well as cleaning without disassembly. Like similar Tanaka flash point testers, the AAP-6's compact design consists of a test head component and separate control unit, allowing it to fit easily inside a fume hood.
