Mastering difficult oxidation applications
The simple, efficient design of Ayalytical Instruments accelerated oxidation stability apparatus guarantees full compliance with ASTM D943, ASTM D2274, ASTM D2893, ASTM D4310, ASTM D7462, DIN 51 587, IP 157, IP 388, ISO 4263, and ISO 12205. This oxidation stability test apparatus is ideal for the determination of oxidation stability by subjecting various fuels and steam, lubricating, hydraulic, and other oil samples to specified temperatures in the presence of oxygen or dry air or, in the case of inhibited mineral oils, in the presence of water and an iron-copper catalyst.
Available in three models, the stainless steel dry block bath boasts a capacity of 4, 6, or 8 positions for simultaneous multi-sample testing. This durable, easy-to- operate oxidation stability instrument is comprised primarily of an insulated double-walled bath and a sturdy double-layered bottom for enhanced support of the testing cells, as well as a 4, 6, or 8 position refrigerating system complete with pipelines for convenient water inlet and outlet. Designed with accuracy and safety in mind, the TOST test instrument is further equipped with constant digital micro-processor PID temperature regulation for quick and precise temperature adjustment from ambient to 130C, with 0.1C for enhanced stability, and an over temperature alarm with automatic shutoff for the prevention of thermal overreach. The liquid indicator, visible from the outside of the instrument, allows for easy fill without messy overflow while the internal light indicator alerts operators to low liquid levels. Included in the design is a motorized stirrer, providing constant rate agitation for uniform temperature regulation of test samples. The TOST test instrument also houses a stainless steel electric heating component, which saves time by providing for the quick boiling of liquids, and a cooling coil, which allows for enhanced cool down control near ambient temperatures. When time, safety, and accuracy are critical, Ayalytical Instruments accelerated oxidation stability apparatus is the clear solution for your testing needs.
