The stacked Peltier design allows measurements according to ASTM D7094 with oven temperatures as low as −40 °C, and the cooling speed of the instrument was increased by approximately 35%. With ERAFLASH LT, simple low-temperature flash point testing is possible without the need to cool the equipment with dry ice or other substances.

The ERAFLASH LT flash point tester is also equipped with a coolant valve that automatically shuts the coolant flow off if not needed. This helps to eliminate condensation of humidity on the cooler. Designed to last, the manual Abel flash point testers feature an anti-acid epoxidic coat, preventingcorrosive damage to the instruments. Samples are heated quickly and steadily from ambient to 70 C viaelectronic regulator, and from -30 to 70C with external unit. These apparatuses come equipped withcalibrated brass crucible, cover for either gas or electrical ignition via manual-glide opening, motorizedagitator, and chromium-plated copper air and water bath. Introducing the ERAFLASH: Augmented ultra-wide range flash point tester maximized for safety

The ERAFLASH is a compact, safe, and reliable flash point tester covering an incredibly wide temperature range for a myriad of sample types ranging from fuels to fragrances and alcohols. With a continuously closed cup design paired with unparalleled thermoregulation using peltier elements, the ERAFLASH ensures maximized safety and efficiency.

With the distinct capability to incorporate both a high temperature and low temperature module, this singular analyzer can cover a temperature range from -25C to 420C with only 1-2mL of sample per test.

To complete a test, the device produces an electric arc in a closed chamber to determine at which temperature the arc ignites the sample vapor, which is measured by the pressure change observed in ignition. Another feature of the ERAFLASH is the built-in unknown sample screen test which can quickly cover a wide range of temperatures to hone in on the specific flash point of unidentifiable samples or samples with unknown flash points.
